Exaba One

Exaba One is the remote management and monitoring portal for Exaba deployments. To get invited, see Cluster (HA).

Deployments

A deployment is one or more clusters, and a cluster is many nodes. Exaba One holds a page for each deployment, and a page for each cluster in it. The deployment pages carry the usage figures and the alert history.

Before the install, Exaba One also holds the install inventory that Site Preparation fills in.

Overview

Each deployment opens on an overview. It reports the clusters in the deployment, their current health, and the open alerts.

Usage

Each cluster reports its stored capacity every hour, so the usage figures show how much of the cluster is used against how much it holds.

Exaba One also reports statistics on the shape of each cluster. These cover the node counts, the nodes that are currently active, and the resilience settings that the cluster runs with.

Monitoring

The monitoring page reports the health of the deployment and of each cluster in it.

One switch on that page controls monitoring for the whole deployment. It gates every source, which is the usage push, the telemetry, and the endpoint checks. Each cluster inherits the switch, and no cluster has one of its own.

Endpoint monitoring

Endpoint monitoring is optional. Add the URLs that Exaba One checks from the outside, and give each URL a reachability check, a TLS certificate check, or both.

These checks cover what the deployment cannot report about itself. They run only while the deployment monitoring switch is on.
