Exaba Object Storage
Exaba is a software-defined, S3-compatible object storage platform that service providers run on their own hardware. It enables partners to become LocalScalers: local providers of cloud services, delivering storage from facilities they control. Built for managed service providers, cloud providers, and data-centre operators, Exaba runs object storage applications such as ransomware-resilient backup, archive, and long-term retention on commodity x86_64, ARM, or Power servers.
Why Exaba
- Sovereign and white-label. Multi-tenant S3 storage you run on your own hardware, under your own brand. No vendor hosts your data, and there are no proprietary appliances.
- Strong for backup and ransomware resilience. Immutable S3 Object Lock repositories, Certified for Veeam Ready, and compatible with Commvault, Acronis, and rclone.
- Durable, fast, and secure. Designed for greater than 12 nines of durability, 10+ GB/s per node over NVMe-oF and RDMA, with a built-in KMS, FIPS-mode OS, and SOC 2 Type I.

Common questions
What can I use Exaba for? Exaba is S3-compatible object storage for applications such as ransomware-resilient backup, archive, and long-term retention. Because it speaks the standard S3 API, any S3-compatible application can use it. See Features.
Is Exaba built for MSPs and service providers? Yes. Exaba enables service providers to become LocalScalers, running white-label, multi-tenant storage and Backup-as-a-Service on hardware they own and control. See Positioning.
Is Exaba ransomware-resilient? Yes. Backups are written to immutable S3 Object Lock repositories, enforced at the storage layer, and this configuration is Certified for Veeam Ready. See Veeam Backup & Replication.
Is Exaba S3-compatible? Yes. Exaba implements the core S3 API (PUT, GET, DELETE, LIST, HEAD, versioning, multipart, and tagging), so standard S3 clients, SDKs, and backup tools work against it. See Features.
Can I run Exaba in production under Docker? Docker is for evaluation only. Production deployments run on Rocky Linux 10 / RHEL 10 across x86_64, ARM, or Power. See Docker / Instant Evaluation.
Does Exaba host my data? No. Exaba is software you run on your own hardware, in your own data center, sovereign by design.
